According to information provided by the Federal government, from 2007 to 2011 AIC had the highest retention rate as well as the highest graduation rate when comparing 7 four-year colleges which serve primarily Native students. AIC is the only one of the 7 schools that is a private college not supported by government funding.
AIC’s Elementary Ed. program graduated its first students in 1995. Since that time, our graduates have passed the Arizona Teacher Certification exam at a rate of 94%, which is very high for colleges serving primarily Native American students. Similar also to the graduation rate of all Elem. Ed. graduates at other colleges in the state of Arizona.
